LOVE LETTER TO THE UNSEEN follows youth conservationist Spencer Hitchen on his journey of discovery to understand the imminent threats to the endangered Maugean Skate and the intrinsic beauty of a species that exists both in the real world and in the imaginations of its supporters. The sole remaining home of the Maugean skate, is at risk, but there’s still time to act.

"Love Letter to the Unseen is one of the most powerful environmental documentary films of our generation."

"It's a must see film."

QUOTE FROM SPENCER:

"It has been absolutely incredible to be asked by Emmy award-winning director Josh 'Bones' Murphy to be in the film Love Letter to the Unseen that follows my conservation journey and my journey to learn about the Maugean Skate in Tasmania."

"This is a film about biodiversity loss from a youth perspective. It's an incredibly hopeful, impactful, powerful and inspirational film for all.”

"Sitting in the audience, watching this film with kids around me and seeing their faces light up and how inspired they are, seeing another kid like them taking action for conservation, is what it is all about.”
